Employees of Contourglobal Maritsa East 3 Take Part for Forth Consecutive Time in Volunteer Day

On October 15, 2011 employees of ContourGlobal Maritsa East 3 took part for a forth consecutive time in the traditional Volunteer Day. The event is organized by the Bulgarian Charities Foundation (BCAF) in partnership with the American Chamber of Commerce in Bulgaria.

 

A total of 20 company employees, together with their families, participated in the initiative and contributed to the success of the two missions in Sofia and Stara Zagora. Each of the participants spent 3,5 hours of volunteering work for the society.

 

The employees from Stara Zagora cleaned up the yard of the Day Care Center for People with Mental Disorders “St. St. Kozma and Damyan”, together with the establishment’s clients. They laid out alleys, trimmed bushes and uprooted surplus vegetation, thus shaping environment in which the risk for the Center’s clients and passing people is reduced. Moreover, woring with the clients of the Center, company’s employees help for the better social adaptation of their friends from the Centre and improve their mental health.

 

The volunteers in the capital planted 15 trees in the yard of the Alexandrovska University Hospital.

 

For the employees of ContourGlobal Maritsa East 3 the participation in the Volunteer Day has already become a tradition. In this way they demonstrate their will to improve the environment they live in, to add value in the live of the community and to do something good for their city.
