Excecutive Director of Overgas with an Award for Overall Contribution to the Development of the European Business Congress

On June 2, 2011 in the Czech capital, Prague the executive director and founder of Overgas, Mr. Sasho Donchev, received an award for overall contribution to the development and operation of the European Business Congress (EBC). This is an international organization established in 1997 with a membership of 120 major European and global energy and infrastructure companies including Germany’s E.on Ruhrgas, the American EXXON Mobil and Russia’s Gazprom.

Mr. Donchev was awarded personally by Mr. Alexei Miller, Chairman of EBC, during the annual convention of the NGO. The recognition is a result of 14 years of commitment of the Bulgarian entrepreneur to Congress. He has been CEO of Overgas and member of the Presidium of the EBC for the past 10 years, and this time was re-elected for another term.   

The European Business Congress strives to stimulate investment and facilitate dialogue between businesses and politicians in seven working  areas – energy, ecology and health, bank law and finance, information and communication, industry and construction, human resources, education and science.
