Corporate Social Responsibility was one of the topics extensively covered during the Holland week in Sofia. The week concluded with the seminar CSR Best Practices and Improvement of the awareness of Consumer Rights on Monday, September 27th. During the morning a roundtable on Consumer rights was organized in cooperation with the European Consumer Centre. In the afternoon several Dutch enterprises gave interesting presentations and workshops on how to implement corporate social responsibility in practice while reaching long term positive effects.
On September 22, Holland week hosted a Sustainability Day during which a variety of energy efficient approaches were presented. BBLF member TNT organized a Special Bicycle Tour to celebrate the end of the European Mobility Week and BBLF member Shell presented the annual Eco-marathon initiative, where technical universities are challenged to build vehicles that are as energy efficient as possible.
