Presentation of CSR Performance Measurement Indicators on Country and Company Level

The Global Compact Network Bulgaria presented indicators for CSR performance measurement on country and company level at a special Forum that took place on the 21st September at the Radisson Blu Hotel, Sofia.

The CSR performance measurement systems are developed under the regional project "Enhancing Transparency and Credibility of CSR Practices through Establishment of CSR Performance Assessment and Monitoring Systems in New EU Member States", financed by the European Community and implemented in 5 New EU Member States. In Bulgaria the project is implemented by the Global Compact Network Bulgaria.

The set of indicators were developed as a tool whose main objective is to help managers to self evaluate the level of CSR in their own companies in a simple and accessible manner.

Both sets of indicators are developed by leading CSR experts from Great Britain, in consultation with government, business and civil society representatives. The results and best practices from the testing of company level CSR performance self-assessment tool in Bulgaria were be presented at the Forum.
