108 Students with Scholarships from Postbank

108 high-school students from all over Bulgaria won scholarships from Postbank at the amount of 500 leva. This initiative is part of the financial institution's project "High Start" which aims at awarding the best students in eight grade from the professional high-schools in the country. This year there are 34 young people with excellent mark - 6.00 and 74 with marks - 5.93 and 5.85.

"Education and development of young people have always been a core value of Postbank. We take pride in the fact that Postbank is the first financial institution to lend a hand to high school education in Bulgaria", said Mr. Anthony Hassiotis, Chief Executive Officer of Postbank.

Most candidates are coming from: Sofia (30), Montana (25) and Burgas (11). This year 72% of the winners are girls and 28% - boys.

The project "High Start" takes place for a forth year in a row and with the support of the Ministry of Education and Science. This year the financial institution has broadened the program and raised the scholarships from 450 to 500 leva. The winners will receive their awards and certificates on official ceremonies in the different towns in October.
