The Future of Galabovo Celebrates With AES Bulgaria

For the 8^th consecutive year the company provided entertainment for the town's children

Hundreds of children in Galabovo celebrated the International Children’s Day with lots of dancing, exotic animal training and a fun programme with their favourite characters, presented by AES to commemorate the occasion.

For the eighth consecutive year, on 1 June the company organised a celebration for the children from the municipality and brought smiles to all the participants’ faces. This year the event took place on the open stage of the newly-opened Youth Centre in Galabovo, and over 300 children from 4 kindergartens and 3 schools from the municipality took part in it.

The initiative is part of the corporate social responsibility programme of AES Bulgaria. Since 2006, AES Galabovo, a part of AES Bulgaria’s business portfolio, has invested over 6.9 million euro in social programmes in the Galabovo region. Their main focus is on improving infrastructure, education and care for children and young people. Within it, the fully renovated Town Youth Centre opened last year. The project was completed with an investment of 2.2 million euro. It is currently the most modern facility of its kind in the region.
