Bella Academy Distinguished 2015/2016 Scholarship Winners

Three students from the UFT won Bella Bulgaria’s annual scholarships

Bella Bulgaria2015/2016 scholarship winners are three students at the University of Food Technologies (UFT Plovdiv) , the only university specialising in the food industries in the Balkans. At a special ceremony Bella Academy distinguished Denitsa Dineva, Maria Petrova and Maria Spasova.  Elza Markova, Bella Bulgaria’s CEO and Prof. Kolyo Dinkov, UFT Rector, handed winners symbolic checks worth BGN 2,000.

"As a leading company in the food industry we support young professionals and support their professional development in our country. With Bella Academy they have the chance to join our team of technologists and R & D specialists who are leading professionals with extensive international experience," Elza Markova said. She added the company will be pleased to work with the scholarship winners as they had shown a high level of academic training.

"The first edition of Bella Academy’s competition was highly popular. This year we decided to give a chance to a greater number of students to get involved in it. In fact we covered all areas of tuition," Prof.  Kolyo Dinkov said. He added Bella Bulgaria was a longtime partner of the university offering excellent career opportunities to UFT graduates.

The second Bella Academy competition for food industry specialists attracted over  30% of  the most successful students of the UFT, a very good result considering the high criteria for participation.

Bella Academy scholarships for UFT students are the latest joint project of Bella Bulgaria food holding and the university. The company manufacturing plants regularly host university trainings and internships. Thus Bella Bulgaria promotes the career development of future professionals in the food processing industry.
