Start of Raiffeisenbank’s Choose to Help Charity Campaign

November 12, 2014
Start of Raiffeisenbank’s Choose to Help Charity Campaign

For the sixth consecutive year Raiffeisenbank launches the Choose to Help charitable campaign featuring 25 new social projects in the fields of health, social good, culture and education, and environmental protection. The campaign will raise support for projects that prevent and assist people with cancer, purchase ultrasound and anesthesia equipment for the treatment of children , elderly people, children with autism , Angels of Lim Foundation  and many more.

Traditionally, the majority of the funds raised in the campaign come from employees of Raiffeisenbank and Raiffeisen Group  Bulgaria  who donate to a project of their liking.  To each donation from an employee  regardless of the amount Raiffeisenbank adds BGN 100 more. Funds are also raised by external donors in result of the promotion of projects by the campaign’s media partners. Donations go directly to the accounts of the respective organisations.

"In its five editions Choose to Help has supported 138 major social good causes with more than BGN 1.7 million. We believe that this year we will raise sufficient funds for the projects and convince many people to donate to a worthy initiative they personally like ", Oliver Ryogl , CEO of Raiffeisenbank, said.

During the sixth edition of  Choose to Help current projects of non-governmental organisations, foundations, hospitals and others  are presented on the campaign web page www.izberi.rbb.bg. Anyone can make a donation directly to the account of the chosen charity project or online through pay.dir.bg payment system as well as using Raiffeisenbank Internet banking. The www.izberi.rbb.bg charity platform featuring 25 new projects is now open. All causes involved in Choose to Help are researched and address a major social issue. The beneficiaries are able to provide efforts on solving it and report on the expenses.

Besides the initially proposed projects employees can make suggestions for causes that could also be included in the Choose to Help 2014. Text messages can also be made in support of the charity campaign.
