Manager for a Day at 19 BBLF Member Companies

A total of 19 BBLF member companies welcomed their "managers for a day" on 12 March 2014. Within the initiative, over 1,000 youths across the country got to know the work environment and conferred with top managers and leading professionals.

Hosts included the following members of the Forum: Kozloduy NPP, M3 Communications Group, Radisson BLU, IBM, Alpha Bank, Aurubis, Piraeus Bank, Dundee Precious Metals Chelopech, Ideal Standard Vidima, Cash Credit, Globul, Mtel, Nestle, United Bulgarian Bank, Walltopia, Cibank, PricewaterhouseCoopers, Siemens and Hewlett Packard Bulgaria

The meeting of youth and businesses is held annually and includes a growing number of participants from both sides. It allows them to test their skills in a real working environment, learn directly from managers and plan their careers. Despite being together only for a day, many young people and their hosts keep in touch afterwards. Some of the top performers were offered an internship or job at the companies they had visited.

Manager for a Day is an initiative of Junior Achievement Bulgaria promoting earning by doing and encourages the relationship between business and education.
