CEZ Social Campaigns Got Web Page

The company invested over BGN 580,000 in more than 50 social causes across the country

CEZ Bulgaria launched a new web page showcasing its corporate social responsibility  programme. Titled Investirame v Bulgaria, or We Invest in Bulgaria, it features updates, photos and videos of CEZ’s current social causes.

“Recently we have improved our sensibility to community needs and expectations. We back social good causes, sports, educational and cultural projects. Creating a special web portal allows us to share our experience and motivates us to keep on”, says Kremena Stoyanova, CEZ Electro Bulgaria Executive Officer.

The innovative web portal is a single page website offering visuals of featured projects via short trips alongside a fictional character named Cezter. The portal is one of the first of its kind in Bulgaria.

CEZ intends to transform their CSR programme web page into a platform for exchange of ideas and views. This is scheduled to take place early next year when customers will be able to suggest projects as well as to vote for projects that will be carried out.

Ever since it came to Bulgaria CEZ has invested in support of regions it operates in. The company’s long-term CSR programme called Investirame v Bulgaria, or We Invest in Bulgaria focuses on energy efficiency, support for young talent, environmental protection, and smart urban environment. In 2005-mid 2013 CEZ carried out more than 50 social initiatives worth over BGN 580,000.
