Project Duration
The donation initiative of the Bosch Engineering Center has started in 2021 and has quickly become an integral part of the overall CSR program.
The mission of the two organizations coincides with the mission of the Center to ensure safety in all spheres of life - not only on the road, but also on the tracks and in the mountains.
Project Activities
Purchase of a specially equipped snowmobile for the needs of the Bulgarian Avalanche Association. The donation is worth BGN 8,000.
2 donations for MRS - each amounting to BGN 15,000.
The amount donated in 2022 was used for the purchase of new protective clothing for the mountain rescuers and radio communication equipment - a complete repeater set.
in 2023 with the donation special equipment was purchased for the needs of the MRS of BRC:
• 40 batteries for radio stations
• VHF radio communication equipment – a repeater
• 6 Bosch Cordless Drills
Project Results
Mountain rescue is an expensive and risky activity. Every detail of rescuers' equipment and gear is crucial to the outcome of a rescue operation for rescuers and victims. That is why ESC's donations increase the level of safety in the mountains and the efficiency of the MRS during actions.
The activity on avalanche hazard analysis is more efficient with the snowmobile because BAA teams cover more ground and collect a lot of information for more precise and wide-ranging analyses.
Involvement of ESC employees with hundreds volunteering hours as rescuers.
