Project Aim
The professional and personal development of the employees and their continuous improvement is a key element of the culture of HPE. The company has large-scale global training resources and in addition HPE Bulgaria is developing this Program aiming to enhance the ongoing development of employees locally through training in virtual, in-person and hybrid format. Through the Program, HPE invests in its staff members capabilities in terms of technical, professional, and soft skills.
The program contains four main streams:
- BoardON- for new hires;
- Elevate- for those with leadership aspirations;
- Trainings for Facilitators- to acquire the skills needed to lead and deliver the trainings offered in the program;
- Portfolio of diverse trainings available to all employees.
Project Target Group
By its nature the Program targets all HPE Employees in Bulgaria. The information for participation reaches the employees in various communication channels - meetings, e-mails, chat, advertising materials. The methodology is developed entirely by the Bulgarian team, incl. facilitators and mentors who are supporting the participants in their development and professional growth through their expertise. Thanks to the big success of the program, many of the trainings are now being offered worldwide.
Project Duration
The Program is active since 2018, and has delivered more than 350 trainings in these 5 years, having continued its action throughout the pandemic by switching to virtual sessions. The duration of the training depends on the stream.
BoardOn is 6 months long and consists 6 sessions for 30 hrs in total;
Elevate's duration is 9 months, 12 hrs/month.
The Facilitators are going through cerfitication program.
Sessions opened for all employees are 45-50 trainings per year, taking 18 hrs/month.
Project Activities
In 2023, the Program delivered 53 trainings on 13 topics, among which emotional intelligence, financial literacy, business analytics, technical, product and quality trainings, leadership skills, project management, and more. Maximum participants count varies between 8 to 24 per session, and each session is facilitated by 2 to 3 facilitators.
In 2023:
*BoardOn stream - delivered 14 sessions on 5 topics to 400 people, amounting to 120 hrs total.
* Elevate stream - has organized sessions on 10 topics in the span of 9 months.; 36 talents worked on 6 projects and graduated this stream
*Trainings dedicated for all employees - have been delivered train sessions to 400 people outside of the BoardOn stream, equals to300 hrs.
*Trainings for Facilitators - 15 new participants (4 of them had certified, equal to 120 hrs)
The participation rate for the program is 80%.
Since its founding in 2018, the Program has educated 4000 ppl in 1200 hrs of sessions, The Program members are currently 52 Facilitators (incl. project managers), of which 68% women.
