Nearly 600 professionals from Bosch Engineering Center Sofia (ECS) are involved in significant international projects and technologies as driver assistance systems, AI, automated driving and e-mobility. The project started with the opening of the Bosch ECS, and for four years now the company has been working and investing in its development. ECS demonstrates responsibility and good practices as an employer, offering long-term employment and education, as well as support in the professional development of its employees. The Center takes care of creating a sustainable environment for young BG IT and automotive talents and sees its social role in imparting the knowledge and skills of its experts

In 2022, more than 400 training sessions were held, more than 65% of employees participated, and leadership academies were successfully held for 3 management levels: - 73 language trainings and Soft Skills programs -> over 800 hours -> 812 participants - 2 academies – Team Lead and Group Lead Academy -> 32 leaders passed it - Executive Leadership Development program for the management team held with a prestigious international partner - 32 specialized training courses -> over 500 hours -> 240 employees ЕCS employees receive an attractive financial and social package - an incentive to attract and retain BG specialists. Experts share their knowledge in the Academy, in the new joint bachelor program with TU-Sofia "Smart Systems and AI", in internship, dual education programs. A large-scale campaign was implemented under #MakeYourselfAtHome and #MoreThanColleagues, lots of internal activities for building a strong team and a friendly company ambiance. From the beginning of its activity in 2019 until now, Bosch Engineering Center Sofia has grown nearly five times in size and constantly provides excellent opportunities for career and professional development to nearly 600 software and hardware engineers. Employees of the Center, in their role as mentors and teachers, train over 150 Bulgarian pupils, students and young specialists, opening up before them unique opportunities for career development in the IT and automotive sector. More than 15 internal events and initiatives were implemented for employees and their families, contributing to build corporate identity, belonging and increase the engagement. Over 100 employees and their family members took part in volunteering and social initiatives during the year.
