In addition to carbon neutrality, Takeda has made natural resource conservation commitments supporting water stewardship, responsible waste management and biodiversity.

The project aims to contribute to the protection of our planet which would be beneficial for the entire society.

This project, being part of our commitment to environmental sustainability will continue in next at least 10 years with strong focus on energy saving, renewable energy and zero carbon emissions.

The main and specific activities we have implemented to protect our environment are:  renovation of the car fleet and replacement of all diesel cars with fully electric ones  discontinued the use of plastic and plastic products in the office, including water in plastic bottles  using only recycled paper products for business and office needs  adopted beehives -Bees are essential for human life on this planet. According to the European Commission, by 2024, one-third of all beekeepers in Bulgaria will have given up beekeeping. We are happy that we can contribute to the protection of bees and to preserve our own way of life too.

With this long-term project, Takeda achieved:  100% carbon neutrality associated with vehicles emissions  100% eliminated the use of plastic products in our office  use only recycled paper for business and office purposes in Bulgaria.
