Project Aim

Globally as well as in Bulgaria Nestle supports Youth in their capability building in the start of their carriers. With this support we aim to show positive attitude towards youth and demonstrate their importance for the workplace. COVID-19 pandemic effect continued in 2021 and impacted the employability for young people . Nestlé is aware of its role in supporting young people and in 2021 its aim was to continue supporting their career development through its initiative even during pandemic. In 2021 Nestlé Bulgaria continued its dual education - the first class graduated successfully from its Sofia Factory traineeship and new class started in 20212. Project Target Group

Young people under the age of 30, mainly current students and fresh graduates who are at the beginning of their career development. We reach them via long term partnerships and effective communication approach.

Project Duration

Тhe initiative has no definite duration. Nestlé has long traditions of supporting and hiring young people. The company continued to meet its commitments also in 2021, by offering internship programs, job trainings and career development to over 150 young peoplе.

Project Activities

In 2021: Nestlé organized Summer’s Cool in which representatives from South East Market shared their experience and expertise in diverse areas. Bulgarian representatives in the summer trainship program were 18 and together with their colleagues from the other countries in South East Market worked on sustainability project that aim to attract more followers to Nestle who are ready to decrease their negative impact on environment as a result of their lifestyle. Nestle Sumer’s Cool lasted 3 weeks in which all participants had very intensive program combining practical exercises and experience sharing sessions. Nestle Bulgaria took part in Manager for a day initiative organized by Junior Achievement . The second “Domino class” started.
