Project Aim

The project aimed at awareness and vaccines confidence enhancing and parent education to increase HPV vaccination rate in pace with the European VCR to prevent HPV related diseases.

Project Target Group

The project is aimed at parents of children in the related age group and patient/parent organizations. The aim is to show the global and European approach towards eliminating HPV related diseases through vaccination and to stimulate the increase of the vaccination rate in Bulgaria.

Project Duration

Project duration - 6 months.

Project Activities

Focus on content marketing -Running an information campaign to general audience: info, articles, interviews, official documents, pharma pass about current status of the problem, etc. Жirtual eventс for parents / parent organizations with the participation of HCPs and KOLs, engaged by MSD as moderator. Video message from moderator. Interactive communication, questions and answers in close secure professional environment for invited only Organizing a virtual round table with livestreaming with experts and institutions / politicians, policy makers, representatives of the European Commission,etc

Project Results

Acknowledgement of the issue by the stakeholders (institutions and parents), submitted a memorandum regarding the need for adoption of a strategy for fighting HPV and related diseases, as well as including HPV prevention in the National cancer control plan. Vaccination rate increased from 3% to 7%.
