Project Aim

Building an effective direct link between the university and business, and breaking the stereotype that there is no connection between them. The main goal of the project is to build mutually beneficial cooperation between DXC and the University: - students to receive quality training in current technologies, and to have the opportunity to give an excellent start to their professional career. - DXC staff to be able to continuously improve their skills. - The university to receive financial assistance for the maintenance of the necessary equipment for quality education. - With the received equipment to meet the challenge of the current pandemic for quality distance learning in practical classes. - DXC to obtain successful candidates for employment.

Project Target Group

The project is aimed at two target groups: - DXC employees who are given the opportunity for training and advanced training - about 150 employees per year - students in the master's program of the University, who are given the opportunity to start work in the specialty, and directly in high positions - about 50 students per year

Project Duration

The project enables employees and students to receive quality training in courses on programs of world-renowned leaders, such as Cisco, Microsoft, VMware, Huawei. This allows them to improve their skills, and in all the dynamics of the IT market to quickly occupy high positions with higher salaries, which significantly increases their social status. The project is maintained and updated annually since 2011.

Project Activities

In the current academic year 2021/2022, about 150 DXC employees are studying in 15 courses at the University. Students from the RSMT master's program at the Faculty of Music at Sofia University "St. Kliment Ohridski" apply for internship programs and positions at DXC. Project Results

The opportunity to quickly receive quality training provides an opportunity for faster promotion in the service hierarchy, increases people's satisfaction with more interesting work and more interesting positions, increases their motivation to learn, and significantly increases their social status. Their rapid qualification growth, in turn, also motivates students for more effective learning. Since the beginning of the project in 2011, about 1,600 employees have attended FMI courses. And over 200 FMI students have started their careers in the company, starting from higher positions.
