The social issue addressed by the project is the lack of clear expert information on socially important topics and a forum for its discussion. Our goal is to develop civic education in Bulgarian society and improve its general well-being by increasing its awareness and access to diverse yet expert information. We have formulated our overall CSR policy as a matrix of four synergistic processes: we help to increase the level of education in our area of expertise - law; we create platforms for the exchange of expert information on significant social issues; we provide and opportunities for young talents and professionals; we motivate our employees to be part of an intellectually and physically active community.

The project is aimed at all members of society who would like to increase their social awareness and culture and also contribute to the sustainable development of Bulgaria. The target group is also the employees of the law office who are involved together with their families and relatives in the projects. We reach the target groups primarily through direct communication with the groups, our social media communication channels, and those of our partner organizations.

A key objective of Gugushev&Partners corporate strategy since its establishment 15 years ago has been to raise awareness of rights and to take part in joint projects with socially engaged artists and experts. We aim that most of our projects are long-term, continuous, and developing rather than one-off events. We believe that this is the most sustainable path to creating an active civil society on which the future of our country depends.

We develop projects in three main areas: raising awareness of important public issues and topics in law through information campaigns, training, and discussion forums; collaboration with socially committed artists and experts; active involvement of target groups in our project activities. Key projects in 2021 are: The Little Book - a common project with young artists. The first edition with fun illustrations presented interesting aspects of the legal job. The second presented less-known civil rights, and in the third, together with Sketches-of-Sofia team, we traced the historical path of law in our country. The book here: bit.ly/LawSketches Business Asks - Webinars with leading experts with whom business representatives have the opportunity to discuss social issues (vaccines vs. Covid-19; the balance of power in institutional transitions). We developed the practice to provide legal reviews on socially significant topics concerning these webinars. Lunch with the Boss and Talent of the Year - mentoring projects to support the career guidance of law students Put-Your-Trainers-On Project - promoting creativity and physical activity among employees.

We evaluate the results mainly by the feedback we receive from the target groups. In addition to promoting the work of young artists among broader social groups, the Little Book summarizes valuable information about important civil rights and the history of jurisprudence in our country in an accessible way. The webinar series provided expert information on important and current issues to a wide range of people. Our mentoring projects enable young legal professionals to receive credible information about their professional development from experienced experts in the field. Our sports initiative not only promotes the benefits of physical activity among employees, but also encourages them to be creative and practice sports with their families.
