SoftServe IT Academy is focused on students and people with little experience in the IT field who want to gain IT knowledge. The courses offered by SoftServe ITA are based on the methodology of developing modern software and learning new technologies.

SoftServe IT Academy is free for the participants. The duration of the training period is three months. The company hosts six to seven academies per year, according to the needs of the current and forthcoming projects. The best students are offered a position as interns with SoftServe.

Promo campaign through various channels. Competitive selection process: for each academy (in Sofia only) we have around 50 applicants who start the selection process; they go through tech test, (English) language test, tech expert interview. The selected candidates join the academy. Every IT academy group has 6 to 8 students, divided into teams who work together on different projects. The training has technical focus but its format is a great foundation for developing the participants’ soft skills. Thanks to the small size of the group, each student receives personalized attention.

A lot of senior colleagues with high level expertise on different tech topics join as teachers during the academy. It is extremely valuable for young people to see the professionalism and enthusiasm of our colleagues and be “ignited” by it. We have a lot of successful students who have joined SoftServe from the IT academy and are already on Senior level or Architects – professionals shaped and formed entirely by the company. In 2019 (in Sofia only) 44 students graduated the IT Academy.
