The AmGenerous project is initiated for the Amgen Bulgaria 10th anniversary in 2019 and aims to engage the company's employees in a series of 10 internal charity initiatives, dedicated to the most vulnerable groups in our society. This way, the company promotes and nurtures social responsibility within the team, providing regular opportunities for employees to contribute with time or money to a cause they most closely recognize.

The project is aimed at the most vulnerable groups in our society, namely children in socially disadvantaged families or institutions, with one or no parents, children and adults with disabilities, children with onco-hematological diseases, elderly people in remote areas with no medical access.

The project started for the first time in 2019 on the occasion of the 10th anniversary of the company in the country and has a duration of 1 year.

Once a month for 1 year, a different activity was announced to all employees. Everyone has the opportunity to get involved in as many activities as wantед, with fund donations, time or effort. The activities are bringing the team together. Some of them are: Culinary competition with homemade food “The Big Baking”; Internal sale of old office equipment "Old Equipment for New Hope "; Charity Lunch "10 culinary journeys" inspired by the cuisine of 10 different cultures; Collection of books for enrichment of the Patient Library in an oncology ward; Mentorship meeting of employees with medical/pharma students with one or no parents, part of the program "Get Ready for Success", BCause Foundation, provided with scholarships from Amgen Bulgaria; Campaign "Instead of flowers for March 8" to collect material and monetary donations for children and families in need; Fundraising for Christmas celebrations and gifts for children and adults with disabilities from various institutions in the country.

The project helped: "Children with Onco-Hematological Diseases" for building a center and BG team participation in the Olympics; “Severozapad” Found. for purchasing ECG for free examinations of elderly people; Donating books for onco patient's library; Children at risk of abandonment (For Our Children Found.) with monetary and material donations; BCause Foundation Fellows with five scholarships and a mentoring meeting; Christmas gifts for children and adults with disabilities (“Sv. Nikola” Fund)
