Project Aim
The project offers Bulgarians living abroad the opportunity for professional realization in Bulgaria and a supportive relocation package. Thousands of Bulgarians are abroad to study, work and live. At the same time, the number of foreigners choosing Bulgaria as their home has doubled in the last 10y. This paradox is addressed in the 3rd issue of the campaign"I can make it there, but I want here" in which foreigners urge Bulgarians to return and discover opportunities for realization in Bulgaria.
Project Target Group
Bulgarians living, working or studying abroad are our main target group. The initiative has a secondary target group – families and friends of Bulgarians who are abroad and their opinion is important for our main target group and can influence them to return to Bulgaria.
Project Duration
TELUS International Europe's philosophy is "we give where we live". Returning talented and educated Bulgarians will contribute to positive changes in society and increase the skilled workforce on the local labor market. The company launched the initiative 3y. ago, since then it is held year-round.
Project Activities
The campaign "I can make it there but I want here" is not only a business but also a social cause for TELUS International Europe. With it, the company seeks to return Bulgarians by offering them career opportunities and relocation package (BGN 5000 bonus, one-way plane ticket, assistance with documents, etc.)
To reach the target audience abroad, we used targeted communication - country, city, university, language, on social networks LinkedIn, InMail, YouTube, Facebook and Instagram.
To reach our secondary target group, we generated information about the campaign in media by sending to the editorial boards cards with data from NSI with numbers of Bulgarians living abroad and the tendency for more and more foreigners to choose coming to Bulgaria. In addition, we told the story of some of the foreigners in TV and radio interviews. The crossing point of our communication is the campaign’s website www.iskamtelus.com, where those who wish can apply directly for work and return to our country
