Galen-N Ltd. was founded in 2001 and several years afterward, we became a successor of the long-date experience and know-how in the distillation of 100% pureand natural Bulgarian essential oils, especially the world-famous Bulgarian Rose essential oil. The heritage and historically important production assets that we acquired in 2006, are located in Zelenikovo village, near the town in Plovdiv.
The Shipkov distillery, one of the oldest in Bulgaria, was founded in 1908 and today is declared a national patrimony, equipped with unique equipment of the French company Tournaire dated from 1899.
The largest Bulgarian distillery and natural plant extraction site BULPHYTOOILS, was launched in 1958, more than 65 years ago.
The new GMP-certified production facility was inaugurated in 2013. This investment allows us to add to our large product portfolio the production of APIs and dry plant extracts.
