BBLF Business Breakfast hosted by Mr. Stephen Ainger, Chief Executive Director of Charities Aid Foundation - UK

On December 18, 2003 BBLF members had the opportunity to learn how to structure and optimize its philanthropic initiatives at a business breakfast, hosted by Mr. Stephen Ainger, Chief Executive Director of Charities Aid Foundation - UK. The discussion was focused on the trends in individual and company giving and the increasing needs of the socially responsible business.

Mr. Ainger shared CAF's experience in working throughout the world helping companies to manage their resources. "We provide services to individuals and companies, helping them in increasing the impact and effectiveness of their generosity," said Mr. Ainger and advised managers to seek assistance from the Bulgarian Charities Aid Foundation for their philanthropic projects.

The Executive Director of the Bulgarian Charities Aid Foundation, Ms. Elitsa Barakova presented the Bulgarian practices and tendencies in corporate and individual giving and BCAF achievements in the 2003. She ensured that corporate giving could achieve maximum results with optimal resources, if the money is well-spent on the right causes.
