CEZ gives scholarships to 12th grade students in five schools in Western Bulgaria

CEZ Bulgaria provides monthly scholarships to 12th grade students from five vocational schools in Western Bulgaria. The company will give scholarships to two students from each school for the second semester of academic year 2012-2013.

The official awarding was held on 28.03.2013. The meeting was attended by the winners, teachers and school principals, as well as managers of CEZ Group Bulgaria.

"I am happy that I can personally bestow the scholarships to the winning students. These scholarships are a kind of investment in both the future of our country and the Bulgarian energy sector. I hope that this initiative will help them to continue their education," said Peter Dokladal, Regional Manager of CEZ for Bulgaria.

Scholarship holders were selected through competition, in which they presented essays. The topic of the assignment was consistent with the direction of the vocational school (technical or economic). Results and winners of the competition were announced on March 8.

In "Become a scholarship student of CEZ” project are included Vidin Vocational School “Prof. Dr. Asen Zlatarov”, Mechanoelectrotechnical Professional School in Lovech, Pleven Professional School of Mechanical Electronics, Mechanoelectrotechnical Professional School "Hristo Smirnenski" in the town of Knezha and Vocational Technical School "John Atanasov" in Kyustendil.
