Petia Dimitrova, BBLF Board Member has been nominated for one of the 192 Young Global Leaders by World Economic Forum

Petia Dimitrova, Executive Director of Postbank, has been chosen for one the 192 Young Global Leaders honourees for 2012 by the Young Global Leader Forum. The prestigious nomination is bestowed by the World Economic Forum and is recognition for exceptional achievements in the field of management on both professional and social level. This year the Young Global Leaders Forum has honoured 192 young leaders from 59 countries for their outstanding leadership, professional accomplishments and commitment to society. Of the selected young leaders, 46 are from Europe. Among the other YGL 2012 European honourees are Birgitta Ohlsson, Minister for European Union Affairs of Sweden, Michal Krupinski, Head of Global Banking and Markets Unit, Bank of America Merrill Lynch, Franz Koch, Chief Executive Officer, PUMA, Germany, etc.

The 2012 honourees will become part of the broader Forum of Young Global Leaders community that currently comprises 713 outstanding individuals. YGLs are actively engaged in the community, integrated into events organized by the World Economic Forum and will convene at an Annual Summit, which will be held this year in Puerto Vallarta, Mexico, on 14-18 April.

Every year, the World Economic Forum recognizes a specially selected group of the most exceptional young leaders under the age of 40 worldwide as Young Global Leader honourees. The nominated leaders come from diverse educational and professional backgrounds and have been identified among the world’s most outstanding leaders for their professional accomplishments, commitment to society and potential to contribute to shaping the future of the world through inspiring leadership.
