Enel Maritza East 3 has been involved for the third time in a row in the traditional spring Volunteering Day. The event’s celebrations were organized by the Bulgarian Charities Aid Foundation (BCAF) in partnership with the American Chamber of Commerce.
26 employees from Enel Maritza East 3 have responded to the initiative and have contributed to the success of the two missions in Stara Zagora. They have cleaned up the shoreline of the Zagorka Lake. They have also taken care of people from St. St. Kozma and Damyan Daily Care Centre for people with mental disabilities where they have renovated the playground by removing the overgrown grass, therefore making it suitable for outdoor activities.
The employees of Enel Maritza East 3 shared: “The Volunteering Day has become a good tradition within the company. It is an occasion for us to do something useful together for the community we live in. Also, we consider the people of the Daily Care Center to be as close as friends. Being here and working with them, we show our good attitude towards them and we have strengthened our relationship.”
Four employees of the company have contributed to the success of the mission in Sofia. They have planted spring flowers in the yard of Alexandrovska Hospital.
Employees from Enel Maritza East 3 have become part of the company’s tradition to keep up with its efforts to making our world a better one. They have demonstrated their desire to improve the environment they live in, to add some value to the life of others and to do something good for their own city. More than 60 students from the Professional High School for Construction, Architecture and Geodesy Lubor Baier, Stara Zagora have shared the enthusiasm of the employees of Enel Maritza East 3 by working together and thus contributing to the success of the initiative for cleaning up the shoreline of the Zagorka Lake.
