The International Safety Day was traditionally celebrated by Enel Maritza East 3. The company realized a series of events to put the accent on a number of components of safety culture. The day started with the personal example of the managers, who distributed personal protective equipment and H&S information materials to the personnel coming to work in the morning. The initiative did not differentiate between Enel’s employees and Contractors staff. This is another example of the high appreciation of the human life and health at work by Enel Mariza East 3.

A dedicated address by John Clark, Enel’s manager for Bulgaria was circulated by e-mail to all employees and attached to the notice board at the power station main gate. It was accompanied by a message on the occasion of this important date by Fulvio Conti – Chief Executive Director of Enel Group.
