M-Tel and Nokia have united in the initiative of supporting two kindergartens in Sofia whose playgrounds are in need of renovation and safety upgrades.
Almost a month before Christmas a special MMS application was created that allows any user to send a Christmas card to friends and loved ones in the form of MMS displaying one of 16 drawings made by children from both kindergartens specifically for this initiative. The application is free to the user and can be downloaded from OVI Store on Nokia (www.store.ovi.com) directly to his/her mobile phone.
For each downloaded application, M-Tel and Nokia will donate 1 lv. for the cause. The charity campaign starts on November 23rd and and will continue until Christmas.
The two kindergartens that will have their playgrounds repaired are “Veselushka” №166 and “Hagia Sophia” №19 in the Lozenets district. They are listed by the Sofia Municipality as most needy of repair and modernization. The repair of two children's playgrounds should be completed in early 2011.
