“Banks Investments Money” International Financial Expo recognizes the best of the banking secotor

The eighth “Banks Investments Money” International Financial Expo was held on 07-09 June in Sofia. 20 Years New Banking in Bulgaria - the Experience and Role of the Financial Sector in Bulgaria for Recovery from the Crisis was the main topic of the concomitant international conference. Solomon Passy - one of the organizers and special guest of the event, defined the forthcoming forum as “the banking event for 2010”.

The event was organized by M3 Communications together with the Atlantic Club of Bulgaria and Banks Investments Money Foundation. 

Speakers at the “Banks Investments Money” International Financial Exhibition were well known personalities and experts from the Bulgarian and foreign financial sector including ministers and deputy ministers, high-ranking employees of international organizations in charge of Bulgaria, senior managers of banking and financial institutions, ambassadors and trade representatives.

The Forum was a time for recognition of the most successful finance related activities of the banking sector. The Banks Investments Money traditional competition Financial product of the year - the Grand Prix awarded prizes in 10 categories.

Most competitive company was a prize that will handed out for the first time and in partnership with the Bulgarian Credit Rating Agency (BCRA). Two more honors were given in cooperation with the Invest Bulgaria Agency (IBA) for State-biggest investor in the Bulgarian industry for 2009 and Foreign corporate investor 2009.

Financial institution of the year was another recognition awarded in partnership with BCRA. Prizes in 12 categories were bestowed for the first time on the most successful companies in the banking and non-bank financial sector.

Money for your business was the organizers’ initiative giving special attention to all who seek financing for their projects and new ventures, giving them the opportunity to be presented at the exhibition to creditors and investors. Together with BCRA and IBA for the first time all good projects were awarded the prizes Best investment project at the exhibition.
