AstraZeneca with two awards in the study of Hewitt "Best Employers in Bulgaria 2009"

For a second consecutive year the Bulgarian branch of the global pharmaceutical company AstraZeneca was recognized as "Best Employer in Bulgaria" in the category for "Small and medium sized companies" in the survey of Hewitt Associates.

The survey regarding the opinions and the involvement of employees is part of the largest annual survey conducted among employers in Central and Eastern Europe. 13 176 employees and 353 senior managers from 91 companies participated in this year's survey in Bulgaria.

AstraZeneca was given also a special award for "Employer with best practices and social policies". The prize was awarded for the individual approach to meeting the needs of employees and focusing on the overall satisfaction of the work conditions, additional benefits and the balance between work and private life.
