The Third General Assembly of BBLF was held on April 26, 2001 at Sheraton Balkan Hotel. Ms Susan Simpson, Public Relations Officer at The Prince of Wales International Business Leaders Forum, and Mr Tomas O'Brian, former Resident Representative of the World Bank in Bulgaria, were guests to the meeting.
Following the presentation of the Annual report BBLF members deliberated on the main directions for the future development of the Forum.
One of the main items on the agenda was the election of new Chairman of BBLF because of the retirement of Mr Bill Drysdale and his leaving the country. Mr Maxim Behar, the Chief Executive of M3 Communications Group, Inc., one of the largest marketing and advertising agencies in Bulgaria and member of BBLF, was elected new Chairman of the Forum. The General Assembly elected Mr Bill Drysdale a BBLF honorary lifetime member for his extraordinary contribution to the setting up and development of the Forum.
