Ms. Maria Shishkova, BBLF Chairperson participated as a judge in the 2008 European Business Awards in the category for Corporate Sustainability. The names of the winners will be revealed on 11 March 2008 at the high profile Awards Ceremony held in the InterContinental Paris Le Grand in Paris and attended by Europe's business elite.

The European Business Awards was set up in 2006 to recognise and reward excellence, best practice and innovation in companies across the European Union. Extensive research and high standards of judging quickly established the European Business Awards as the showcase of Europe's skills, achievements and innovations in the field of business.

The programme serves to show the world that Europe has a vibrant, dynamic and robust economy. Uniquely, these Awards are open to organizations of different sectors and of any size. The judges use a formula, based on success, innovation and business ethics, which makes it possible for small and medium sized enterprises to compete with big businesses - and win!

The European Business Awards is a brilliant showcase of Europe's most successful business achievements.
