The Power of Giving Back: TELUS International Bulgaria Donates Office Furniture to Nine Organisations Across the Country

TELUS International Bulgaria, in collaboration with our partner, Bulgarian Donors’ Forum, proudly announces the donation of over 800 pieces of retired office furniture to nine civil organisations and community centers across the country. We aim to create a better environment for educational activities for thousands of students, including Ukrainian refugees and is a natural continuation of TELUS International Bulgaria's efforts to foster positive social change by supporting local communities. The donation saved roughly BGN 32,000 of costs for the organisations.

Here is the complete list of supported organizations and how the donated furniture will be utilized for their individual needs:

Sofera Association: equipping the shared studios for natural and social art at their premises in the village of Ilindenci.

Foundation Situational Centre Open Doors: furnishing classrooms where courses with Ukrainian refugees are held.

Community Centre "Otets Paisiy - 1893": equipping a room for extracurricular education of children, including a literary club for students from 5th to 7th grade.

Ukraine Support and Renovation Foundation: for the newly opened communication center in Plovdiv, where they provide services related to the integration, including employment, psychological, and legal support.

Foundation for Social Change and Inclusion: equipping with secure personal lockers the Supervised housing and Center for placement of minors.

Association ‘For Children - 2017’: securing the storage of art materials for working with children.

Cedar Foundation: for their office premises to easily store documentation.

Community in Help for the  Addicts - Gabrovo: to complete the furnishing of their therapeutic center for rehabilitation of addictions.

"Thank you to the whole TELUS International Bulgaria team for the wonderful interaction! With them, we are already preparing a new campaign for donating refurbished IT equipment to organizations that have registered their needs in the NGO Infobank," the Bulgarian Donors’ Forum said.
