Business Leaders Teach High-School Students at Razlog

More than 100 students from the Professional Tourism and Food Technologies High-School at Razlog attended the "Business Hour" on March 9, 2007. The event was organized by the Bulgarian Business Leaders Forum together with the Professional Tourism and Food Technologies High-School, Bulgarian Catering Association and Bulgarian Academic Products.

The "Business Hour" at Razlog began with an interesting lecture of the Honorary President of the Bulgarian Catering Association Iordanka Alexieva on the topic of "The introduction of a food quality control system in Bulgaria". The high-school students received practical advice which developed further their knowledge in the sphere of tourism and catering.

In the second part of the event the youngsters had the opportunity to learn more about the standards for professional qualifications in the tourism area from the Country Manager of Bulgarian Academic Products Donka Furnajieva. Afterwards the BBLF Executive Director Stamen Tassev presented the Bulgarian Catering Association and the Professional Tourism and Food Technologies High-School at Razlog with the BBLF Standard for Business Ethics, which was adopted by more than 1500 companies in the country.
