PwC’s Academy: Financial Reporting Issues training on 11 & 18 April 2024

The Financial Reporting Issues training consists of 2 separate modules: Module 1: Acquisitions, group reorganisation and Module 2: Consolidation. You can decide whether to join both modules or pick the one that is most interesting to you. The training is held in a live-online format and is led byPwC’s expert Roland Balogh who is a Senior Manager and a Head of the Consolidation and Structuring services at PwC Hungary.  

Here is more information about the two modules and some of the topics that will be discussed: 

Module 1: Acquisitions, group reorganisations 

Date & Time: 11 April 2024 (10:00 - 14:00 EEST)

• Introduction to consolidation - current issues, most common difficulties
• Different types of financial statements
• Who and when shall be consolidated
• Special accounting issues of acquisitions 

Module 2: Consolidation
Date & Time: 18 April 2024 (10:00 - 14:00 EEST)

Topics:

• Consolidation with practical examples
• Equity method in practice
• Reconciliation of separate and consolidated financial statements
• Tips for reviewing consolidated financial statements 

The course also provides you with a 6-month access to the IFRS10 Consolidated financial statements and the IAS28 Investments in associates and joint ventures e-learning modules immediately after registering, so that you will have the chance to freshen up your basic IFRS knowledge about the subject before the modules.
