Business Master Classes - Creating a national network of young leaders

On November 8th 2006, in the University of National and World Economy, the biggest BBLF project Business Master Classes, organized together with AIMS Human Capital Bulgaria, was officially opened for a seventh consecutive year. Among the guests of the opening ceremony were the Deputy Minister of Education and Science Mr. Kircho Atanasov, the Country Manager of World Bank Sofia Office Mr. Florian Fichtl, Mr. Cristoph Wenisch, CEO of Kraft Foods for Bulgaria, Mr. Bert van der Velde, CEO of METRO Cash & Carry Bulgaria and Mr. Krassimir Ganchev, CEO of ProWave.

Consistent in its efforts to meet the ambitious students with real business leaders, the BBLF team has designed this year 9 unique classes on burning issues varying from "Food and Beverage Industry Management" to "Real Estate and Property Investment" and thus providing opportunities for young people with interests in different areas. Along with the new challenges, the Business Master Classes will again include the most popular courses, such as "Management" and "Information and Communication Technologies". Sustaining the good traditions, the project will be hosted in Sofia again, for the seventh year, as well as in Varna for the second one, after the two successful classes during this spring. Always striving to adequately meet the needs of the business and the society, BBLF will for the first time expand its project to Plovdiv.

Throughout the years, the Business Master Classes have proved not only to constitute a professional training program for future business leaders, but also a platform for discussion of current "real business" problems and sharing of fresh ideas. Furthermore, the project has turned out to be a useful instrument for the local businesses to encounter ambitious and quality young people as their potential employees.

This year the Business Master Classes will be organized with the general sponsorship of METRO Cash & Carry Bulgaria, Intracom Bulgaria and Kraft Foods Bulgaria AD and the kind support of BNP Paribas, AstraZeneca, M3 Communications Group Inc., Actavis, SP Consult EOOD and AbCro.

The upcoming classes that will take place in November and December this year are "Real Estate and Property Investment" in the University of Architecture, Civil Engineering and Geodesy and "Pharmacy and Healthcare" in the Faculty of Stomatology of the Medical University - Sofia.
