The Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Education and Science Daniel Valchev opened today in the National Financial and Economic School the new project of the Bulgarian Business Leaders Forum - "Business Hour". The project is part of the international initiative of the IBLF - Engage. In those business hours the employees of the companies, members of the Forum will meet the pupils from the professional schools in Sofia and introduce them with the most interesting market innovations, concrete situations from their everyday practice, and to give the students valuable professional advice.
"A country is rich, when it's people are rich," said Mr. Valchev. It is very important for the professional education to assure fast realization of its graduates and that's why, it is necessary to establish a link with employers, who are able to give a lot to the students. The business hours are a great opportunity for the young people to prepare for the challenges that await them in their future.
In the course of the business hours, the students will get acquainted with the main standards of business ethics, with the requirements of Labor Legislation, the most important obligations of every businessman and taxpayer. "Ethical business means making money in a transparent way and its first lesson, which I would like to teach you, is that speed, simplicity, and self-confidence are the three golden rules, to which every employee in M3 Communications Group sticks," said Mr. Behar, Chairman of the Bulgarian Business Leaders Forum.
The CEO of TNT Bulgaria, Ivan Vassilev, greeted the audience and shared that the enthusiasm, with which the companies, members of the Forum participate in this project, shows how seriously the business takes its obligations towards the young generation.
Among the guests of the opening ceremony were Ms. Tatyana Kalkanova, Deputy Chair of the Parliamentary commission for education and science; representatives of the regional inspectorate of education, representatives of companies, members of the Forum; and Principals of the professional high schools in Sofia.
