BBLF welcomed the world-famous environmental analyst Dr. Lester Brown
The Bulgarian Business Leaders Forum was honored to host the visit of Dr. Lester Brown - one of the world's most famous environmental analysts and pioneer of the concept of environmentally sustainable development. During his visit in Bulgaria, Dr Lester Brown met  the Chairman of the Bulgarian Parliament Georgi Pirinski and Georgi Bozhinov, Chairman of the Parliamentary committee on environment and waters. Dr. Brown had also a business breakfast with the BBLF Managing Board. His lecture to Bulgarian business and academician circles at the Bulgarian Academy of Scienses reaped enormous interest from more than 250 people.
Mr. Maxim Behar, Chairman of the Bulgarian Business Leaders Forum handed down to Dr Brown a copy of the Standard of Business Ethics of BBLF, part of which is dedicated to the protection of environment. 
With his 50 books in more than 40 languages Dr. Brown is one of the world's most widely published authors. He is a recipient of 23 honorary degrees from Universities from Europe, North America and Asia and has been described by the Washington Post as "One of the world's most influential thinkers". The renowned lecturer who is founder and Chairman of the Board of Directors of Worldwatch Institute is visiting Bulgaria where the Bulgarian edition of his bestseller "Plan B 2.0" is already on the book market.
