Bosch Supports Those Affected by Catastrophic Earthquake in Turkey, Syria

We are devastated by the catastrophic consequences of the earthquake in Turkey and Syria.

Our deepest sympathy goes out to all the people affected in the region.

As emergency aid for the people affected by the severe earthquake in Turkey and Syria, we are donating one million euros to the Deutsches Rotes Kreuz e.V. | German Red Cross, which will forward most of the funds to the Turkish Red Crescent. The rest of the funds will be used by the Red Cross for its own emergency aid program, for example to equip an aid convoy to the crisis area. In order to further alleviate the suffering and provide the humanitarian supplies that are urgently needed, Bosch is making an additional contribution in the form of cash and in-kind donations worth half a million euros, the use of which will be decided by colleagues on-site in Turkey.

Our Bosch divisions are also helping. For example, in coordination with our dealers, we have already equipped search and rescue teams in the region with Bosch power tools. In addition, we’re offering users of Bosch and Buderus brand heating appliances in the affected cities support for malfunctions and spare parts free of charge.
