Bosch Bulgaria supports the WE HELP! Campaign to help the people who suffered from the flood in Karlovo Region

The company joins the noble cause with a financial donation and appliances of first necessity

At the beginning of the month, a terrible flood destroyed the homes of hundreds of people in Karlovo Region. The water swept away the dwellings of many Bulgarian families, who now are making efforts to repair the damages - flooded houses, yards, crop, furniture, etc. Household appliances and furniture are still among the most needed items, as well as support for the parents in the region whose children have started school.

Bosch Bulgaria joins the efforts to help the affected people by joining the WE HELP! Campaign to help the people who suffered by the flood in Karlovo Region with financial support in the amount of BGN 50,000. BGN 30,000 was provided by Bosch Engineering Center Sofia, and Bosch.IO donated BGN 20,000. BSH Household Appliances Bulgaria plans to assist the victims by providing basic electrical appliances.

The company is involved in this noble initiative, which is carried out in partnership by four civil organizations – the Foundation "Workshop for Civil Initiatives", Bulgarian Donor Forum, National Association of Volunteers in the Republic of Bulgaria and BCause Foundation. They combine their efforts in communication, gathering information about the needs on the spot and decisions how to spend the funds.

A special page for Bosch campaign has been created on Platformata.bg, where all collected funds are registered. In addition to the corporate donation, the Bosch associates support the cause with financial means and hold out a hand to the people in need at this difficult time as well.

The donation is another step by which Bosch Bulgaria is expanding the activities in the field of corporate social responsibility by supporting foundations, social institutions and those in need. Providing a safe and peaceful family environment, supporting people from socially vulnerable groups, safety and care for the environment and investment in education are among the main priorities of Bosch. The company's associates actively participate in charity actions as brand ambassadors, because they want to give a lead and very often initiate such campaigns themselves.
