Lidia Shuleva Handed BBLF Most Elegant Lady Award
Former minister Lidia Shuleva was declared "Most elegant lady" at the BBLF Christmas Ball of the White Roses that took place Wednesday evening at the Hilton Sofia in partnership with Forem Consulting and Vinprom Karnobat and with the support of Ericsson Telecommunications. 120 leading Bulgarian businessmen celebrated together with the Forum the coming end of a dynamic and successful year.

 

"I remember BBLF's Christmas party six years ago, which was attended by 32 guests," Maxim Behar, BBLF Chairman shared. "The fact that so many of us are here tonight is extremely important as we, the big companies, have the responsible task to send the right signals to the Bulgarian business in upcoming very important year," explained he.

 

BBLF also handed out a few non-corporate awards to members with special achievements

 

Lawyer Emil Benatov from "Benatov and Partners" was declared "Most Elegant Gentleman."

The EADS Bulgaria personnel were awarded as "Most regular participants in the BBLF events". With 8 representatives in the room Address Bulgaria Group received the reward for the company with greatest attendance at the ball.

BBLF also gave out its "anti-awards" - for Board member most rarely attending the meetings and for a member, who is most rarely participating in the forum's events.

 

In 2005 BBLF has organized many events with governmental representatives; issued its Responsible Business Directory and handed out its awards for socially responsible business, carried out its BBLF Olympic games and two editions of the Business Master Classes, met with two prime ministers, wrote an Anti-Corruption Statement supported by thousands of companies in the whole country and managed to attract many others to join the Business Ethics Standard.
