CEZ - Bulgaria Joins Bulgarian Red Cross Action in Support of Flooded Regions

The three electricity distribution companies in Sofia, Sofia District and Pleven, whose majority stakeholder is CEZ - Bulgaria, joined the Bulgarian Red Cross donation campaign for the Bulgarian regions devastated by the floods. Aside from providing financial aid, CEZ - Bulgaria will also start a collection of prime necessities  among its employees.
Since August 8, internal reception centres in all subdivisions of Electricity Distribution - Stolichno AD have been opened for employees wishing to donate warm clothes, blankets, shoes and other basic necessities. Yesterday, August 9, the first consignment was transported with a company bus and delivered to the central reception point of the Bulgarian Red Cross.
Considering the spontaneous involvement and the sincere desire of the company employees to help as much as possible, the managers of the company decided to prolong the period of donation collection.
Along with the regular emergency teams, many employees of the three electricity distribution companies under CEZ - Bulgaria will join in to help repair the electricity network and return electricity supply in the flooded areas back to normal.
