The telecom received three prizes in the 11th edition of The Greenest Companies in Bulgaria 2021
Telenor Bulgaria is ”The Greenest Company” in the telecom sector in 2021 for the fourth time. Telenor was awarded another two awards in the categories “Paperless office” and “Green initiative in times of pandemic” at the awarding ceremony of „The Greenest Companies in Bulgaria“ 2021, organized by b2b Media.
The awards were presented at an official ceremony on May 14 in the 11th edition of contest which recognizes the green ideas, initiatives, and investments in the field of environmental protection and sustainable development.
"These three awards in “The Greenest Companies in Bulgaria” competitionare a valuable recognition of the long-term, sustainable environmental practices that Telenor Bulgaria develops and implements, and which are an integral part of our sustaibability strategy and our corporate culture. The awards are yet another recognition of our continuous efforts and the scale of our environmental socially responsible policy", said Viliana Staneva, Corporate Responsibility Expert at Telenor Bulgaria, who received the awards at the official ceremony.
The Paperless Office project is a long-term strategic program of Telenor, which aims to minimize the usage of paper by the telecom both as part of the company's internal processes and the communication with customers and through digitalization of their coustomer experience.
BlueGardens is a project initiated by Telenor employees and funded by the company, which aims to afforest 10 decares of land throughout the country. The initiative is a winner in the Telenor StartKicking program, which gives employees the opportunity to present their ideas, whose implementation is financed by the company. The winner projects in the program are selected by voting by the employees of Telenor Bulgaria.
