Chairman's Letter on the Signing of Journalists Code of Ethics

     of  Bulgarian journalists

Dear Friends,

On behalf of the Bulgarian Business Leaders Forum, I would like to warmly congratulate you on the signing of your Code of Ethics.

For the first time, more than two years ago, we at the Bulgarian Business Leaders Forum officially introduced the word ‘ethics' into corporate reality by creating and implementing our Business Ethics Standard.

Back then, few were those who believed the Standard will be signed by over 1,000 in two years' time.

I truly believe that the Code of Ethics of Bulgarian journalists will yield an enormous effect on the whole society and will help turn Bulgaria into a better place for living and doing business in.

We at the Bulgarian Business Leaders Forum are convinced that freedom of speech, social responsibility, and the strife for truth are the fundamental pillars of modern democracy. Here is why we fully support the Code of Ethics of Bulgarian journalists.

I wish you success in your endeavour and let all of us, the representatives of media and the business, make Bulgaria a better place.
