Microsoft and Cisco Join Forces Against Viruses

Computer giants Microsoft and Cisco Systems plan to jointly improve their corporate metworks, since the computer systems of their largest clients are being seriously jeopardized by viruses, worms, bugs and other threats, the AP reports.

Each of the two companies has been developing a system to more efficiently assist corporate clients in protecting their computer systems. By 2007, when Microsoft is expected to release its new Windows system, the two giants will have made their systems totally compatible, thus allowing corporations to have the security of their Windows and Cisco infrastructures guaranteed.

Saving cost and money will be the greatest asset of this approach.
