'Overgas Basket' Joins Europe

As of Saturday, Oct. 16, the ‘Overgas Basket' programme became part of basketball Europe. FIBA-Europe's calendar will be updated with the tournaments that take part within the programme.

 

Overgas Executive Director Sasho Donchev and FIBA Vice-President George Vassilakopoulos will sign the contract Saturday.


In the course of 10 days a year, the young basketball players from the largest children's sports programme in Bulgaria will be playing at the training schools of the top European clubs. The Overgas Basket coaches will be receiving the whole basketball literature, tapes and materials, issued by the European federation, throughout the whole year, free of charge. The results of the Overgas Basket games will be published on the FIBA-Europe website, and in the Federation's official bulletin.
