The Bulgarian Business Leaders Forum presented the Code of Business Ethics at a discussion with representatives of the Government of Bulgaria and over 300 participants from Bulgarian and international companies and business organisations.

The Forum addressed the Government with a special message and British Ambassador Richard Stagg delivered an opening speech.

Maxim Behar, Chairman of the Board of BBLF, pointed out that "the Code is a unique reading - on one hand, it combines the best principles, that the business in Bulgaria has managed to compile in the recent few years, on the other hand - it also contains a manual for the development of one company's own ethical business conduct".

Deputy Prime-minister Nikolay Vassilev, Deputy Minister of Economy Ljubka Kachakova and number of Members of Parliament were present and took part in the dicussion following the presentation of the Code. All attendants received a personal copy of the Code and a guide on how to develop a similar code for their own company or office.
