The customers of the retail chain can buy and donate essential goods in every store
BILLA and the Bulgarian Red Cross are starting a long-term donation campaign benefitting struggling people. The clients of the retail chain will have the chance to join the initiative by buying essential foods and putting them as a donation in special shopping carts in every BILLA store across the country. The campaign starts in July.
In addition to the products thus collected in stores nationwide, BILLA will be donating an additional amount of essential goods on a monthly basis. All the items will be granted to low-income people and transported with the assistance of the Bulgarian Red Cross.
“We are launching the donation campaign because we believe that we and our clients could help people in need. I am sure that we will succeed in collecting products and I urge all Bulgarian customers to join in so that we could support and make happy those for whom a small gesture makes a real difference”, Boyko Sachanski, CEO of BILLA Bulgaria, said.
This is not the first charity campaign that BILLA has initiated. In 2014, the retail chain launched a successful initiative mottoed Buy and Donate in support of the flood victims in Varna and Dobrich.
