BBLF again is a partner of the contest

The Bulgarian Association of PR Agencies (BAPRA) announces the start for application submission of the seventh edition of the annual PR contest BAPRA Bright Awards. This is the only contest in the field of marketing communications in Bulgaria with a fully international jury of high caliber PR experts.

Applications for BAPRA Bright Awards 2016 are welcome at by 11 March 2016. Entries must be implemented in March 2015 - February 2016. This year all nominations need to entered in English only. Also, a new way of evaluation in the Agency of the Year category. The final evaluation will be formed with 50% representing the average score, which the jury members will give to the agency in the category, while the remaining 50% will be formed by the average score of the projects with which the agency had entered in the remaining categories.

This year again the event will also include Sofia PR Summit featuring leading local and international PR and communications experts. They will share insights and trends on the key topic of Creativity, Strategy, Results. Well-known experts from the global PR business are expected to attend the event in Bulgaria. The event will offer an opportunity to all participants to learn more about the latest trends and to take part in dynamic discussions on the PR business.

Christophe Ginisty chairs the 2016 International Jury Committee. An international public relations guru and specialist in social media, Ginisty is the founder of WebDiversity, an NGO promoting the freedom of speech online. Christophe Ginisty will judge for the fifth consecutive edition of BAPRA Bright Awards. Every year the chair is taken by leading names with remarkable achievements in the global PR industry. Over the years, chairpersons were global PR experts like Zehra Güngör Phd, Paul Holmes, David Gallagher and Francis Ingham.

Traditionally, members of the Jury Committee are recognised professionals with a great expertise in the PR and communications field, including: Damjan Obal – a user experience designer with a PhD in computer science and deep passion for brand stories, and a founder of Edgar, the place that magically connect SMEs with the best storytellers to work on their brand and product stories; Anna Krajewska – she laid the cornerstone for the development of PR industry in Poland and has 25 years of experience in managing corporate PR, financial PR and investor relations; Bart de Vries – the 2016 President of IPRA, a professional with over 25 years in public relations. There are seven categories: Sustainable Development Campaign, Special Event of the Year, Innovative Campaign of the Year, Campaign Implemented by Internal PR Department, Communication Campaign of the Year, Communication Campaign in the Public Sector, and Agency of the Year.
