Companies can hire international interns for free in March'05

The Bulgarian Training Centre (BUCT), member of the BBLF, provides Bulgarian companies with the opportunity to hire an international intern for the period March 14 - April 8, 2005, free of charge.

BUCT have been mediating a proposal on the part of the Essen Economic Development Corporation located in Essen, Germany - partner of the Alfred Krupp von Bohlen and Halbach Foundation. The Foundation is instructed to organise a project called "Alfried Krupp-Student Scholarshiop for practical business training in foreign countries". In order to get to know the requirements for future professions and to be prepared for their careers, 50 young people from Essen are granted scholarships to train their skills abroad. Since the beginning of the programme in 1998, a total of 328 boys and girls have graduated from the practical internship scheme and have successfully launched their professional careers.

For each intern the Foundation spends an amount of EUR 1,400 for the company who offers the placement. This money should comprise the following: accomodation, full catering and travelling expenses including special sightseeing excursion.
